The Role
As a Religious Education Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that explore a wide range of beliefs, philosophies, and ethical issues.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality RE lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Encouraging open-minded discussion and respectful dialogue
• Supporting students’ academic and personal development
• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
• Is passionate about inclusion, diversity, and student voice
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills
• Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and reflective thinking to lessons
