Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Support Teaching Assistants to provide daily cover in welcoming and inclusive primary schools across St Albans
. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly to new environments, and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

• Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour management
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where appropriate
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

• Have experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred)
• Be flexible, proactive, and confident working across different classrooms
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
