Position: Primary HLTA (Contract)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at an esteemed 2 form entry primary school in St. Albans due to start this April.

This St. Albans based school provide outstanding education to their pupils, their dedicated staff play a crucial role in achieving this. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will take on a more senior role, supporting the teaching and learning process, and assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons
Lead intervention groups and provide additional support to students who require it
Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the students
Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

The successful candidate will have:

A relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Experience working in a primary school setting
Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
