Educate Staffing is currently recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a well-established school in St Albans. This role is available for an immediate start and would suit someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and supporting learning in a classroom environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

• Assisting teachers during lessons and classroom activities
• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Helping pupils to stay focused and engaged with their learning
• Providing additional support to pupils with SEN or learning difficulties when required
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
• Helping to create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting pupils during break times, transitions, and school activities
• Following safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff

• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or the ability to obtain one immediately
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting
• A supportive, patient, and dependable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards supporting a range of pupil needs
• Eligibility to work in the UK
