We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at an esteemed 2 form entry primary school in St. Albans due to start this April. This St. Albans based school provide outstanding education to their pupils, their dedicated staff play a crucial role in achieving this.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons
- Lead intervention groups and provide additional support to students who require it
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the students
- Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
