CER is excited to be recruiting a dynamic Humanities Teacher (QTS) for a vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Hertfordshire. What You'll Do- Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive Humanities lessons across KS3 (and KS4 depending on experience).
- Inspire students to explore the world, understand human behaviour, and think critically about society.
- Design and deliver well planned lessons aligned to the curriculum with the freedom to bring your own style and passion.
- Assess and monitor progress to help every student achieve their potential.
- Build a classroom environment where students feel valued, empowered, and excited to learn.
- Play an active role in wider school life from enrichment clubs to field trips and cross curricular projects.
- QTS and experience teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, RS) at KS3/KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for your specialist area.
- A confident classroom practitioner with excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Someone reflective, committed, and eager to grow professionally.
