As an SEN Teacher in St. Albans, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities - SEN Teacher, St. Albans
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils
  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil outcomes
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary

The Ideal Candidate - SEN Teacher, St. Albans
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
