Mathnasium is a global company with 1000 maths-only learning centres worldwide, which offers both maths help and enrichment to students through our unique combination of mental, oral, visual, tactile and written techniques. We teach maths to children for understanding, in a way that makes sense to them! Most importantly we make maths fun and grow children’s confidence.

Want to make a difference in a child’s life by passing on a love for maths? We are currently seeking an Graduate Management Trainee to grow the business, ensure successful centre operations, work with students to achieve mastery of maths, support parents and to train and lead a team of Instructors.

Job Overview

Mathnasium Managers are dynamic, enthusiastic individuals with the leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, sales ability, and organisational skills to operate a thriving learning centre. They build strong relationships with families, confidently convert enquiries into memberships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Success is achieved through effective instructional leadership, empathetic parent communication, inspirational staff management, and efficient administration. Above all, you must build a great rapport with your students and their families.

We seek visionary leaders who embody the integrity, mission and values of Mathnasium who will motivate and guide fellow colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Meet sales and retention KPIs
  • Execute superior customer service, communicating student progress to parents regularly and confidently resulting in student retention
  • Assist with business related administrative tasks
  • Support staff induction, training and continuous professional development
  • Maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Administer Mathnasium curriculum through accurate student assessment and diagnosis to monitor and ensure continued student progression and mastery
  • Inspire, manage and lead a team to deliver Mathnasium methodology
  • Engage with the local community, network, build strong school and business relationships
Person Specification
  • Basic Maths skills (Grade 6 or B, or better, at GCSE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Passion for working with students
  • Superb organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Exemplary character, ambitious, resilient and empathetic
Preferred
  • Maths skills (A-Level or Higher Education qualification)
  • Previous leadership skills and experience in a supervisory role
