Year 4 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in St Albans.

• Providing in‑class support within a mainstream Year 4 setting.
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities to access the curriculum.
• Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions in Maths and English.
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The position is available until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

• Have previous experience working within KS2, ideally in Year 4.
• Be confident delivering small group and 1:1 interventions.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
• Be proactive, adaptable and committed to supporting pupil progress.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
