PE Teacher – 1 Term
St Albans, Ofsted GOOD School – Short‑term position (1 term).
About the RoleDeliver Physical Education lessons as part of a national curriculum and GCSE/Functional Skills provision.
Responsibilities- Participate in staff development activities within the department and across the school.
- Deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies to meet student needs.
- Report student progress in my subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
- Confidence teaching Maths to a GCSE standard.
- Creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Provide teaching references for the last two years.
- Fully enhanced DBS on the online update service.
- A passion for learning and teaching.
- Belief in every student's right to fulfil their potential.
- Pursuit of outstanding practice, with energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students.
- Free, accredited CPD courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
