We are recruiting an Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in St Albans
, where you'll play an important role in helping pupils with additional needs reach their full potential.
This is a full-time position starting in September, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support.
- Assist in creating engaging learning experiences.
- Encourage positive behaviours and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Previous SEND experience (3 months).
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience working within a school environment.
- Level 3 or Bachelor's Degree.
- A welcoming and inclusive school community.
- Work alongside a supportive and experienced team.
- Make a real difference to pupils with SEND every day.
