Para educator – Next Step

Vernon Public Schools invites an enthusiastic and compassionate Para educator to support students with special needs within our Next STEP program.

Location: Next Step (38 Park St)

Responsibilities

Assist students with special needs.
Support classroom teachers in daily activities.
Help special needs students with personal care, health, and safety.
Act as a job coach in vocational settings.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for the 26-27 school year is per contract with a competitive benefits package. The full‑time position requires 32.5 hours per week.

August 25, 2026.
