Job Description The St Albans MEP team is comprised of Associate Directors, Principal, Senior, Engineer and graduates also working closely with our other national MEP teams, specifically with the team in Aldgate London.

We are a close knit, supportive community, nurturing exceptional talent in the building services industry. We work closely alongside our internal and external consultant colleagues in the architectural, civil, structural, PM, QS, environmental, building physics, sustainable design, acoustic, transportation, planning and landscape disciplines designing new data centres (hyperscale and co-locations) at the forefront of technology for our clients across the world.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Associate Director with Healthcare experience, enthusiasm, confidence and ability to run projects and take ownership for project delivery.

Decarbonisation :
Multiple projects where we have undertaken the feasibility of the removal of boilers and installation of Air Source and Water source heat pumps to provide the heating and cooling for the building. Projects include commercial buildings like 80 – 100 Victoria Street London, British Library, multiple residential buildings in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and even Windsor Castle.

What You Will Do:

You will provide authoritative technical leadership, mentor and inspire teams, and act as a trusted, client-facing expert—helping to deliver sustainable, high-performing, and compliant building solutions.

Lead the design and oversee contractor implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, architects, M&E teams, contractors, and senior management, building strong relationships and providing expert advice.
