As a Data Security Specialist in JET's Security Architecture & Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in embedding data protection into our design and operations. Your mission? To engineer the controls that safeguard our most sensitive data across cloud-native and enterprise environments. You'll translate architectural data security standards into scalable implementations, from DLP platforms to encryption pipelines, ensuring that Privacy and Security by Design are integral to our engineering delivery.

Working at the intersection of data security engineering and automation, you'll turn continuous insights into automated guardrails, enhancing our automated data defense and delivering continuous compliance. Your approach will foster frictionless security workflows, enabling development teams to innovate safely. Together with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, you'll cultivate a culture where security is a competitive advantage!

• Oversee the deployment and daily management of Enterprise DLP and encryption solutions across various environments to protect data at rest, in transit, and in use.
• Manage automated data discovery pipelines to accurately map and protect sensitive information, extending controls to AI-integrated environments.
• Collaborate with the Security Architecture team to embed data protection controls and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) baselines into CI/CD developer workflows.
• Translate data security policies into executable "Policy-as-Code" and manage the deployment of automated guardrails across cloud environments.
• Streamline engineering workflows by building API integrations between security scanners and ticketing systems, utilizing intelligent automation to reduce false positives.
• Guide engineering teams with automated feedback loops, clear documentation, and developer-friendly data protection tools.

• Proven experience in implementing and managing data security controls in cloud-native or enterprise environments.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python & Bash/Shell) to translate security goals into working code.
• A track record of translating governance policies into automated remediation workflows and CI/CD security gates.
• Practical understanding of AI/ML data security risks and experience using AI tools for automation.
• A collaborative approach to build trusted partnerships across teams, acting as an enabler rather than a blocker.
• Ability to evaluate complex data flows and translate security findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and a strong ethical foundation for handling sensitive data.
