Meridian Business Support are recruiting for MIG Welders to work for our client based in Longton, Stoke on Trent Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their team.

The Role This is a hands-on welding role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components in line with technical drawings and company standards.

Key Responsibilities MIG and TIG welding mild steel components Working from engineering drawings and job specifications Fabricating and assembling parts as required Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards are met Maintaining a safe and tidy work area Supporting production targets and deadlines Requirements Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Good understanding of health and safety procedures Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude Working Hours and Rate of pay Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm £14.00 - £15.00 - Salary negotiable depending on experience Benefits Onsite parking Canteen facilities Early finish on Fridays This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and reputable manufacturing business offering stable, full-time hours.
