Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Analyst (Grade II) to join a well-established UK pharmaceutical manufacturer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating from a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with significant production capacity.
The Role
Reporting to the QC Supervisor and QC Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for completing training and carrying out routine analytical laboratory work in compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.
You will be expected to work professionally and independently on assigned tests, product samples, or technical areas, maintaining full compliance with:
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Data Integrity standards
Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
Internal SOPs
At Grade II level, you will be recognised as having sufficient technical expertise to perform QC analysis independently across areas such as:
Technical Services
Incoming Materials
Finished Product / IPC
About the Company
Our client is a highly respected UK-based pharmaceutical manufacturer with over 35 years of industry experience. They specialise in the manufacture and packaging of non-sterile solid dosage forms, including tablets and capsules, supplying a wide range of over-the-counter analgesic products to major retailers.
Following a recent £14 million investment in a new headquarters and manufacturing facility, the company now produces over 2 billion tablets annually and continues to expand.
Requirements
Previous QC laboratory experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity
Ability to work independently and manage assigned workload
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Package
Salary: £32,000
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm
28 days holiday (inclusive)
