Assistant Property Manager (Residential Lettings)
Location:
Hemel Hempstead or Bushey
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours:
Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm, plus 1 Saturday per month (10am – 3pm, with a day off in lieu; flexible for the right candidate)
Reports to:
Property Management Lead / Director
We are seeking a motivated and organised Assistant Property Manager to join a busy residential lettings team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in property management while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of property administration and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Property Administration:
Assist the management team in the day-to-day operations of residential properties
* Landlord & Tenant Relations:
Maintain positive relationships with tenants and landlords, addressing concerns and issues promptly
* Maintenance & Contractor Coordination:
Monitor maintenance requests, oversee contractors, and ensure timely completion of works
* Reporting:
Support the preparation of reports, ensure rental payments are made on time, assist with annual rent reviews, and maintain accurate property records
What We Are Looking For
* Able to build rapport and maintain relationships while delivering excellent customer service
* Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive problem-solver who can prioritise workloads and collaborate effectively within a team
* Experience in property management or administration is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to train for a property qualification and develop a career in property management
Desirable:
* Previous experience in property management, customer service, or administrative roles
