Parts Advisor

Location: St. Albans

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established bodyshop based in St Albans, for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual seeking a role within a reputable company that offers stable employment and clear career progression prospects. The Parts Advisor role focuses on delivering high standards of customer service, managing parts sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Monday to Friday working hours (7am - 4.30pm)

Duties of a Parts Advisor:

• Respond promptly and courteously to customer and internal parts requests
• Promote excellent customer experience at all times
• Handle sales of parts both in branch and externally
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries efficiently
• Report stock damages or losses immediately to management
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and adhere to Health and Safety regulations
• Support stock management and stock control activities
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and customer expectations

Requirements of a Parts Advisor:

• Previous automotive parts experience
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Proactive and customer-focused approach
• Excellent telephone manner
• Full and clean driving licence
• Good understanding of automotive parts and the motor trade industry
