Full Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join a dedicated housing team supporting residents living in temporary accommodation. This varied and rewarding role involves working closely with individuals and families to help them sustain their accommodation, maximise their income, and move towards settled housing. Main Responsibilities Manage temporary accommodation tenancies from sign-up through to termination.

Support residents with housing issues, benefits applications and income maximisation. Monitor rent accounts and work proactively to prevent arrears. Investigate and manage tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour cases. Carry out property inspections and ensure accommodation standards are maintained. Deliver person-centred support to residents with varying levels of need. Liaise with external agencies and support services. Maintain accurate housing management records and case notes.

Assist customers in achieving successful move-on outcomes. Essential Requirements

Experience with in social housing, supported housing, homelessness or housing management. Knowledge of tenancy management and resident support. Understanding of welfare benefits and financial inclusion. Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families. Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable). Benefits Salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.
