Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 (plus one Saturday morning every 4 weeks, 08:30 - 11:00). Shift patterns apply, with one day per week finishing at 16:30.

Our client, a leading provider of Transport and Logistics services, are currently seeking an EU Road freight Coordinator for their team based in Hertfordshire.

This is an exciting role for someone looking to grow their career in European and UK freight operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring internal processes are followed accurately and collaborating with colleagues across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

• Coordinate and manage the movement of freight across the UK and Europe, including full trailer and shared load shipments.
• Ensure high levels of customer service are consistently delivered.
• Plan and optimise driver routes to increase operational efficiency and minimise unnecessary mileage.
• Monitor drivers' hours and compliance with driving regulations.
• Process customer orders accurately using internal systems, with a strong focus on detail.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, for European shipments.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, providing quotations and handling enquiries.
• Allocate resources effectively, including trucks, trailers, and drivers, to meet operational demands.

The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness, with the ability to negotiate and identify business opportunities.

You will also be confident in managing multiple priorities and communicating complex instructions clearly with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
