Job Overview
Warehouse Operative Based in ST Albans. Permanent Position.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. We are delighted to be working with a well‑established, family‑based business who are looking to recruit a hands‑on Warehouse Operative working as part of a small, efficient, and close‑knit team.
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock movement and organisation
- Checking and processing incoming and outgoing paperwork
- Previous experience in a warehouse
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Computer literate with good numeracy skills
- Counterbalance forklift licence advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Working for a friendly, family‑run business with a supportive culture
- Stable, full‑time, Monday to Friday hours
- Opportunity to take ownership of the warehouse function
