Design Manager – Luxury Hotel Fit

Design Manager - Luxury Hotel Fit-Out

St Andrews, Fife | Temporary

£350-£400 per day

I'm working with a respected fit-out contractor on a 60 room hotel project in St Andrews, and they need an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process from pre-construction through to delivery.

The project is currently in PCSA, with a start on site planned for May 2027. It's a great chance to get involved early, shape the design from the outset and see it through to handover on a high-profile hospitality scheme in one of Scotland's most iconic locations.

• Taking ownership of design management across the project, working closely with the client, architect, interior designer and consultant team during PCSA
• Coordinating design information and managing the design programme
• Driving value engineering and buildability reviews
• Making sure packages are issued on time to support procurement
• Managing the flow of information to the delivery team and specialist contractors once on site
• Resolving design queries quickly and keeping a firm grip on change

• £350-£400 per day
• The chance to get involved at PCSA and shape the design from the start
• A 60 room luxury hotel scheme in one of Scotland's most iconic locations
• Working with a respected fit-out contractor, with the client keen to build a team close to the project

• Strong background in hotel or high-end hospitality fit-out
• Experience of PCSA or two stage tender projects ideally
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable with MEP coordination and FF&E interfaces
• Able to bring structure to a busy design process
• Based in Scotland (essential, as the client wants a team close to the project)

If you're a Design Manager based in Scotland with hospitality fit-out under your belt, this one's worth a chat.
