We seek a highly motivated candidate to support a range of Global Office activities related to student mobility opportunities, including for both in- and outbound students to and from St Andrews. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with demonstrable team working skills and will be capable of operating flexibly across the team. They will play a key role in supporting existing Global Office programmes and will have the opportunity to build expertise and experience within educational partnerships as well as being expected proactively to pursue new and enhanced activities for our students within the Global portfolio.
The role holder will work across an established and collaborative Global Office team to ensure diverse and high-quality programmes are made available and promoted as we seek to broaden our offer to students.
The Global Opportunities Representative will report to and work closely with the Student Mobility Officer (Outbound) to support the Global Office’s strategy in relation to a broad range of partnership activities. The role is designed to allow a candidate with aspirations to work in the Global Higher Education context the opportunity to develop skills and experience in the area.
The candidate we are looking for will be able to work closely with all colleagues in the Global Office, to identify and discuss new opportunities with their line manager, and to promote agreed outcomes. They will be involved in organising events and activities for students under these areas and will be expected to offer flexibility in providing support to a range of related activities within the team.
The role holder will also liaise with colleagues across the University in academic Schools and in units including Registry, the International Education Institute and Admissions as well as with external partner institutions.
