Project Analyst - CG

Applications are invited for a Project Analyst to join the Business Transformation Team at the University of St Andrews, the Top Ranked University in the United Kingdom (The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027).

The University is fully committed to identifying, prioritising and delivering strategically aligned change, with Business Transformation playing a central role in supporting complex projects, low to medium complexity change initiatives and continuous improvement. A key priority for the University is to exploit available efficiency tools to enhance and automate tasks and processes across key functions, and a project has been established to deliver this over the next two years.

This is an excellent opportunity to join Business Transformation and become a key contributor in the identification and delivery of automations and efficiencies which help improve student and staff experience, improve process efficiency, and reduce risk.

Reporting to the Head of Service Enhancement and Business Analysis, you will be part of a project team of Analysts who will review efficiency proposals from stakeholders across the University, perform analysis on the opportunities or issues impacting processes, document and optimize those process, and work with IT developers to identify appropriate solutions (which may include available ‘off the shelf’ tools such as the M365 suite, Power Automate and other Ai enabled applications).

We are making a substantial investment to enhance how key tasks are carried out here at the University and are looking for an analytical and solution-oriented colleague who can identify problems and opportunities and help leverage efficiency tools make that a success.
