We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Provost Vet Group on a full‑time basis.

Our modern, purpose‑built surgery is located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is well‑equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, a dental suite, digital and dental x‑ray, endoscopy, an Imotek ultrasound machine and an in‑house lab. We have designated cat, dog and isolation wards, and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic.

St. Andrews is a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh, on Scotland’s east coast. It’s known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course. It’s also known for its historic university, medieval streets and gorgeous traditional buildings. The town is filled with exciting things to see and do, from St Andrews Cathedral to nearby Scotland’s Secret Bunker, so you won’t be short on places to visit.

Located half an hour from Dundee and less than two hours from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a full‑time position, working 40 hours per week across four days, with participation in a Saturday rota. The 4.5 hours worked on Saturdays are returned as time off in lieu.

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
