We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our well established team at Provost Vets. If you have an interest in imagery or schedule 3 tasks we would love to have you on board! Find your future

The role would involve covering all aspects of a first opinion caseloads including nurse consults ranging from weight clinics, 2nd & 3rd puppy and kitten vaccinations, pet health club checks, nails clips etc with scope to develop the nurse clinics further. Alongside assisting the vet on a daily basis with operations as well as performing diagnostic imaging and ward and theatre nursing duties.

The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. We have designated cat, dog and isolation wards and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic.

St. Andrews is a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh, on Scotland’s east coast. It's known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course. It’s also known for its historic university, medieval streets and gorgeous traditional buildings. The town is filled with exciting things to see and do, from St Andrews Cathedral to nearby Scotland’s Secret Bunker, so you won’t be short on places to visit.

Located half an hour from Dundee and less than two hours from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week across four days, with participation in a Saturday rota. The 4.5 hours worked on Saturdays are returned as time off in lieu.
