Position: Physical Education and Athletic Director 39;s Elementary School, West Van

The successful candidate

will deliver a comprehensive and engaging physical education program that promotes physical literacy, student wellness, and lifelong healthy habits. This role includes planning and implementing inclusive, student-centred lessons that support a wide range of abilities, while integrating principles of health, well-being, and mental fitness. As Athletic Director, the candidate will lead and coordinate school sports programs, organize practices and competitions, and foster a culture of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Physical Education (a Master’s degree in a related field is considered an asset), and demonstrate experience in coaching and organizing athletics. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, along with a passion for supporting the holistic development of students in a positive, inclusive, and active environment.
