We are currently seeking casual employees interested in providing consistent evening support. The primary shift requirement is 7:00pm-10:00pm, with regular opportunities to work these scheduled evening hours. From time to time, additional shifts and extended hours may also become available, offering flexibility for those interested in picking up extra work.

Momentum Developmental Support began as a residential-care system for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our team quickly learned these vibrant, complex people didn't just need housing and supervision. Rather, they needed a team who understood their abilities and mental health experiences.

As a Developmental Support Worker, you are a part of the Momentum Community. Working with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, you promote independence based on individual programming through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities.

A High school Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset).Experience workingin a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual anddevelopmentaldisabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered anasset A driver's license is required as well as amedical report,including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report,Record ofconduct and a vulnerable sector check,Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C

*** This is a unionized position with NL Association of Publicand Private Employees. The wage rate is $19.08 per hour plus a remote work differential, specific to the Northern Peninsula, of an additional $4 per hour
