Accounts Senior | St Asaph | £32,000 - £38,000 DOE Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm in St Asaph who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

You will undertake a varied accounts role, with responsibilities including:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities in accordance with FRS 102 and other relevant accounting standards
• Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
• Reviewing VAT returns and supporting clients with queries
• Reviewing the work of junior team members and ensuring files are ready for Partner review
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
• Communicating directly with clients and responding to accounting and technical queries

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified or QBE
• Strong technical accounts knowledge and up-to-date CPD
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• CCH experience advantageous, although training will be provided
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Organised, motivated and able to manage competing deadlines
