Mechanical Design Engineer
St Asaph - hybrid working
Up to 50k
Key Responsibilities
- Produce mechanical designs, layouts, drawings and technical specifications.
- Develop solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Work with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and health & safety requirements.
- Support projects from concept and detailed design through to installation and commissioning.
- Review technical documentation and provide engineering input throughout the project
Experience
- Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous mechanical design experience, ideally within the water, wastewater, or utilities
- Experience with CAD/design software.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, equipment and engineering principles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team.
