We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected company for a Senior Estimator to join their team in North Wales. The business has been involved in a variety of prestigious projects, from major transport hubs and public infrastructure projects to bespoke structural solutions for commercial, industrial and local authority clients.

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steelwork, fabrication and engineering projects.
• Analyse material, labour, subcontractor and overhead costs.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct site visits where required to evaluate project scope and identify potential risks.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Assist with contract handovers to project delivery teams following successful bids.
• Monitor market trends, material costs and industry developments.
• Support business development activities and contribute to bid strategy discussions.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple tenders and working effectively to deadlines.
