Senior Data Analystto join our Business Transformation team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. About the Role

As Senior Data Analyst, you'll be a key member of our Business Transformation Team, leading the development of reporting solutions, dashboards and automation tools that support colleagues across the organisation.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve reporting capabilities and help drive Clwyd Alyn's wider data strategy.

This is a role for someone who can quickly get up to speed, work independently and confidently translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytical solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and performance measures.
  • Transforming complex data into clear and meaningful insight.
  • Using SQL, Power BI and related tools to analyse and visualise data.
  • Automating reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Supporting data quality and helping resolve reporting issues.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Providing expert advice on data interpretation and performance trends.
  • Supporting business improvement and transformation projects through data-driven insight.
  • Promoting best practice in reporting, data governance and data management.

What You'll Bring

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Strong, practical experience of SQL and Power BI.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports and performance reporting solutions.
  • The ability to analyse complex datasets and present meaningful insights.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
  • Experience working within a regulatory or governance-focused environment.
  • Strong data quality, validation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong experience of Power Automate to improve processes and automate workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to quickly understand systems, processes and reporting requirements.

Experience mentoring colleagues, supporting self-service reporting, or contributing to data strategy and governance initiatives would be advantageous.
