Teledyne Qioptiq Optical Solutions, a leader in avionics displays, defense optronics, and integrated OEM optical solutions, is seeking an operator for its Assembly team.

An Operator in the Assembly team is responsible for assembling sophisticated electro-optical instruments that incorporate mechanical, optical, and electronic components.

• Work as part of a dedicated team to assemble electro-optical instruments.
• Ensure quality work standards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Support the team in meeting customer requirements.

• Education:
  
  at least a grade C or above in Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
• Willingness to learn, flexible attitude, and a positive 'can do' approach.
• Experience with small equipment and intricate parts (model kits, embroidery, nail art, PC/laptop hardware, mobile phone rebuild).
• Experience in assembly processes and techniques.
• Optical handling experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility for working hours and availability for overtime.
