Heating Engineer (Gas Safe)

Salary: £37,215 - £37,927 per year
Location: Field-based, North Wales
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:00-16:30
Department: Clwyd Alyn Property Maintenance

Role Overview

We are looking for a Plumbibg ad
Heating Engineer to deliver high-quality boiler and heating maintenance across our properties in North Wales. This role focuses entirely on reactive and planned heating maintenance
, including:

  • Boiler servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs
  • Gas appliance maintenance and reconnections (CKR1, HTR1, CEN1)
  • Pipework and radiator replacements
  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and reactive boiler and heating system maintenance
  • Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs
  • Reconnect gas appliances safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Replace radiators, pipework, and other heating system components
  • Keep detailed records for the Asset and Maintenance teams
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and gas safety regulations at all times
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Gas Safe: CKR1 (Cookers), HTR1 (Fires), CEN1 (Central Heating), CCN1 (Pipework), CPA1 (Core Safety)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS check (covered by Clwyd Alyn)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
