The role?

As Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in the continued success of the practice, taking ownership of a varied client portfolio whilst supporting the Partners and leading a small team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries

- Planning, overseeing and reviewing assignments from start to finish

- Reviewing statutory accounts, tax returns and wider compliance work

- Leading client-specific projects and providing commercial advice

- Managing, mentoring and developing members of the team

- Supporting the Partners with business development and the continued growth of the practice

- Ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard and within agreed deadlines

The right fit?

The successful Senior Manager will be ACA or ACCA qualified with several years' experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.

You'll also bring:

- Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and taxation

- Previous experience managing a client portfolio

- Excellent leadership and people management skills

- The confidence to build long-term relationships with clients

- A proactive approach and the ability to balance multiple priorities within a busy practice
