We are acting on behalf of a National Construction company that are looking for long-term cover for the following role in St Austell, Cornwall

Pay Rate: £13.00p/hr - £16.00p/hr (+ holiday accrual)
SummaryWorking as part of a team in the St Austell office, supporting a busy construction business along with it's Project Managers, Supervisors and Construction Workforce
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain fleet management records and processes.
- Manage timesheet administration, ensuring information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Compile and report Health & Safety statistics as required.
- Answer and manage the office telephone, dealing with enquiries professionally and directing calls appropriately.
- Monitor and approve holiday requests in line with company procedures.
- Coordinate the maintenance of construction tools/equipment, ensuring records are maintained and requirements are met.
- Monitor hire equipment, including records, availability and returns.
- Coordinate and support apprentice administration and related activities.
- Monitor employee absence records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Arrange business travel and accommodation as required.
- Book and coordinate meetings and meeting rooms.
- Maintain the statutory compliance register for company offices.
- Monitor and order office stationery and supplies, including refreshments and general consumables.
- Support the onboarding of new starters, ensuring relevant administrative arrangements are completed.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Director and Operations Managers.
- Act as a key point of contact for site operatives, responding to general queries and providing appropriate support.
- Provide document control cover during periods of absence.
- Undertake other general administrative duties as required to support the Operations team and wider business.
- Good IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- A proactive, flexible and professional approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
You'll be joining a national construction company, with over 15 offices nationwide, employing over 600 people and turning over more than £500m p/a across the UK
