Job Summary Continuous Improvement team

Location: St Austell, Cornwall

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Travel: Regular travel to operational sites across the UK

The Role

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Champion to join our Industrial Continuous Improvement team.

This role plays an important part in supporting operational teams to improve performance, develop capability and embed continuous improvement practices across our UK sites. Working closely with managers, supervisors and operational teams, you will help implement improvement initiatives, facilitate workshops, deliver training and coach teams to achieve sustainable results.

The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites, supporting the rollout of improvement methodologies and contributing to long-term operational excellence programmes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement programmes across operational sites.
  • Facilitating workshops, training sessions and improvement activities.
  • Coaching and supporting managers, supervisors and operational teams.
  • Assisting with performance analysis and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting site improvement plans and governance activities.
  • Using data and digital tools to support decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across a variety of operational environments.
What We're Looking For Essential
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification, or currently working towards achieving this.
  • Experience with in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial or operational environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital tools.
  • A full, valid driving licence with the ability to travel independently to sites across the UK.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience in Change Management
Desirable
  • Engineering or technical qualification.
  • Experience delivering continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience working across multiple operational sites.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as VSM, OEE, TPM, SMED, DMAIC or PDCA.
