Geography Teacher

Location – St Austell

Salary - £135 - £232.57 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and plan engaging lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
• Mark and track students’ progress
• Engage and attend any necessary school events (Parents evenings, open evenings)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Contribute to the Humanities department
• Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

• Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Resilience, calm and patient
• Previous teaching experience
• Geography specialism
• Strong communication skills, dealing with teachers, students and parents
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Safeguarding Level 2 (Not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
