Youth Development Worker
Location:
St Austell, Truro
Salary: £15.00 PAYE per hour
Contract:
Temporary until end of September 2026
Hours:
Full-time, 37 hours per week on a rolling rota (including weekends and bank holidays)
Working pattern:
Monday – Sunday, 8am‑8pm (to be discussed)
DBS requirement:
Enhanced Adult & Child
We are looking for two dedicated Youth Development Workers to join a team that provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16-25.
Responsibilities- Deliver personalised key worker support and life skills coaching.
- Conduct and update risk assessments and management plans.
- Facilitate 1-to-1 sessions focused on personal development and goal setting.
- Support young people in attending medical appointments.
- Participate in multi‑agency meetings to develop effective action plans.
- Lead group activities that foster community and engagement.
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided).
- Enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child).
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
