Lead Support Worker – (261198)

Salary £27,500 per year (or £14.06 per hour) plus 34 days leave, rising to 39, and a health cash plan worth over £1,140.

Permanent, full‑time or part‑time role available (30 or 37.5 hours per week). We cannot offer a CoS for this role.

• Lead support planning and coordinate Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support.
• Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
• Support customers with daily tasks such as budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
• Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower customers.
• Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community.

• Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
• The ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience.
• Willingness to work on a 7.5‑hour shift schedule, covering 7 days including early and late shifts.
• Enhanced DBS with barring list (employer pays).
• Valid vehicle insurance for business use and a driving licence (employer pays mileage).

Eastbourne Road is a 24‑hour supported service for customers with mental health‑related social care needs. Customers receive up to 25 hours of support per week and live in a 10‑bedroom property with shared facilities and communal spaces.
