Position: Progression Advisor
Location: St. Austell

We're looking for a Progression Advisor to join our specialist team, supporting individuals whose health conditions, disabilities or life circumstances have impacted their wellbeing, confidence and ability to progress.

As a Progression Advisor, you'll provide personalised coaching, guidance and practical support to help participants achieve their employment, training and personal development goals. Through a person-centred approach, you'll help individuals build resilience, increase independence and take positive steps towards sustainable outcomes, including employment where appropriate.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll develop trusted relationships with participants, coordinate access to specialist services and deliver tailored support that empowers people to realise their potential.

Salary: £31,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Full-Time (37 hours)
Location:
St Austell Field Based. Regular travel throughout the designated area will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one coaching and progression support.
  • Help participants identify goals and develop personalised action plans.
  • Support individuals to overcome barriers to progression and employment.
  • Build confidence, motivation and independence through tailored interventions.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialist services and external support organisations.
  • Maintain accurate participant records and monitor progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, employability, wellbeing or support services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire individuals facing complex challenges.
  • Experience managing a caseload and working independently.
  • Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
