Head of Global Test Labs & Verification

This position is responsible for managing a globally distributed laboratory organization focused on product verification, measurement technologies, validation processes, and data-driven testing activities, for state of the art products.

The role combines operational leadership, strategic development, and cross-functional leadership within an international engineering environment.

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the company’s international testing and verification landscape.
• Manage laboratory teams across multiple regions and product categories.
• Drive modernization initiatives related to digital lab environments, automation, infrastructure expansion, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Establish globally aligned testing procedures, quality standards, safety guidelines, and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, product development, supply chain, and customer-facing technical teams to support validation and qualification activities.
• Support the introduction of new products through robust verification and reliability testing programs.
• Evaluate and implement emerging testing methodologies, instrumentation, and software solutions.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience across multiple teams / product lines
• Background in vacuum technology
• Familiarity with industrial automation, data acquisition, scripting/programming, or data analysis tools (eg Python)
• Experience driving process optimization or agile transformation initiatives in complex technical environments.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills within matrix structures.
• Practical, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to lead both strategically and operationally.
• Fluency in English, with professional level communication of German
