Join ALTEN Switzerland as a Autonomous Driving Test Delivery Engineer and take the lead in product compliance and certification projects for medium‑voltage systems, driving technical excellence across international standards and cross‑functional engineering teams.
Your Responsibilities- Lead autonomous driving tests on open roads and develop safe, efficient, and well-structured test plans according to project requirements.
- Apply strong knowledge of autonomous driving and vehicle dynamics to monitor, document, and track issues identified during testing; proactively drive root‑cause analysis and propose practical improvement solutions.
- Utilize expertise in software testing methods and workflows to conduct end‑to‑end validation of autonomous driving HMI features, ride‑hailing functionalities, and cloud‑based systems.
- Design specialized test strategies, ensure high‑quality test execution, and prepare clear, comprehensive test reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Python.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to manage pressure, work responsibly and methodically, show initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Extensive experience in software testing and quality management; background in autonomous driving or ADAS testing is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in everyday communication in German (Switzerland) or English (UK) is preferred.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws, possession of a valid driver’s license, and substantial local living experience are considered strong pluses.
