Test Engineer

• Collaborate with developers, hardware engineers, and project managers to understand requirements and report findings.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing for software interacting with hardware components
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts tailored to embedded systems
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and validate fixes
• Analyze logs and technical data to troubleshoot integration issues
• Participate in regression, performance, and compatibility testing
• Contribute to automation frameworks and scripts for repetitive testing scenarios
• Document test results and manage defect tracking through tools like JIRA or Bugzilla

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, ideally with embedded or hardware-specific systems
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and hardware-software integration
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and automation platforms (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
• Programming experience in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner
• ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification is a plus
• You are able to communicate fluently in English and have minimum C1 level of German (written as well as spoken)
