Straw Your new company A leading independent accountancy practice in Merseyside is seeking an experienced Client Account Manager to join their growing team. With an established reputation for delivering high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, the firm offers a supportive culture, excellent client exposure and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Your new role As a Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Acting as the main point of contact, you will build strong relationships, provide commercial advice and ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
Reviewing statutory accounts prepared by junior members of the team Overseeing the completion of corporation tax returns and management accounts
Acting as the primary point of contact for client queries and business advice
Building and developing lasting client relationships
Supporting partners with workflow management and business development activities
Mentoring and developing junior staff members
What you'll need to succeed ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong knowledge of statutory accounts and corporation tax Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Experience managing a portfolio of clientsA proactive and commercially focused approach
