An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join the Payments & Charges Team as a Finance Assistant within Integrated Health & Social Care.

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting services for vulnerable adults and care providers. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate payments, maintaining financial records, supporting service users, and helping the team meet important deadlines.

Roles That Matter
  • Processing provider invoices and payments.
  • Producing payment schedules for residential, nursing and domiciliary care providers.
  • Investigating and resolving payment and charging discrepancies.
  • Supporting annual financial assessments and reviews.
  • Managing appointeeship and client monies accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
  • Responding to enquiries from service users, providers and colleagues.

Supporting vulnerable service users by ensuring their financial affairs are managed accurately and appropriately.

Employees can regularly work away from Council work spaces (including home or other locations), alongside required office-based working. The balance between remote and office-based working is determined at service level based on operational need, however, there has been a minimum specification that staff will work at least 2 days from an office-based location.
