Site Manager

Location: North of England / Midlands
Office: St Helens or Leeds
Salary: £45,000 depending on experience + 5% contributory pension + up to 10% annual bonus

About the business

We re working with a well-established contractor delivering refurbishment and small works projects across the North of England and Midlands.

The business works across healthcare, education and public sector environments, with projects ranging from Cumbria down to the Midlands. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they re looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support project delivery across the region.

Overview

We re looking for an experienced Site Manager who is comfortable taking responsibility for projects in live environments.

You ll be organised, proactive and confident managing subcontractors, site teams, clients and other stakeholders, with the ability to deliver projects safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Duties
  • Managing day-to-day site operations from commencement through to completion
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard
  • Managing RAMS, site documentation and H&S compliance
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Managing works within live environments while minimising disruption
  • Monitoring progress and addressing any issues that could impact programme or delivery
  • Ensuring the site is maintained to the required standards throughout the project
  • Travelling across the North of England and Midlands, including working away when required
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 6 or equivalent / degree-level qualification
  • CSCS Black or White, SMSTS, First Aid
  • Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain following successful appointment
  • Experience delivering refurbishment and/or small works projects
  • Experience working within live environments
  • Healthcare, education or public sector project experience
  • Willingness to travel across the North of England and Midlands
  • Temporary Works experience, preferred but not essential
  • Asbestos Awareness, preferred but not essential, with further training available in-house
