MFL French Teacher

The Education Specialist is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in St Helens, who are seeking a French Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a fixed-term contract until at least the end of the academic year.

This role is predominantly KS3 French, with some KS4 classes, making it an excellent opportunity for a passionate and engaging MFL specialist who enjoys building strong foundations in language learning while supporting GCSE progression.

The Role:

Teaching French across KS3, with some KS4
Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
Fixed-term contract from January 2026 – July 2026 (minimum)
Supportive MFL department and leadership team

The Ideal Candidate :
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching French at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
Strong classroom management and enthusiasm for MFL
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
