Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 GCSE Tutor in the St Helens area, with a focus on supporting students in core subjects such as Math, English, and Science.
We are a teaching agency dedicated to making a positive impact in young peoples lives by supporting their educational development. Our Childrens Education Team collaborates with local authorities across the North-West to assist vulnerable pupils who are currently outside of mainstream education.

Hours:
8am - 4pm (with occasional after-school/evening sessions, 1-4 hours per day)
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
2 years of professional references
QTS or equivalent tutoring experience
Experience working within an SEN setting (preferred but not required)
Further Information:
The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to create and deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis. A therapeutic approach may be needed to re-engage students with their learning. The goal is to provide structure in the pupils daily routine, ensuring their educational development continues and supporting them towards returning to an educational setting.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor each pupils progress, asking you to submit weekly reports to track their development.
Tuition typically takes place during school daytime hours, although there may be occasional after-school sessions (3-4pm) or evening sessions. Sessions generally range from 1 to 4 hours per day or week.
