About the role:
Edstaff are supporting a primary school in St Helens who are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher for a part-time role starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECTs ready to begin their teaching career or an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity with more flexibility.
Within this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience for many children beginning full-time education for the first time. You will provide a positive continuous provision environment to support both the academic and emotional development of early years pupils. You should be able to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff and integrate yourself into the wider school community.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive learning opportunties
* Promote a positive learning environment for all pupils
* Work alongside support staff to provide high quality education for pupils
* Assist with general school duties as required
* Adhere to school policies and procedures
Essential requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
* Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
